This legendary series is finally out now for the Xbox One thanks to the Backward Compatibility program. This means that if you’ve already purchased the BioShock: The Collection on Xbox 360, you won’t need to purchase it once again for the Xbox One console.
Microsoft and Backward Compatibility
Microsoft announced that the original BioShock games are now available on the Xbox One that players can already try it out. It seems that more and more old games are now available for the Xbox One thanks to the Backward Compatibility, mot likely a boosting in the sales for Microsoft’s latest console.
Over 300 Xbox 360 Games playable on Xbox One
There are over 300 Xbox 360 games that can be played on Xbox One thanks to Backward compatibility. The company claims that it will continue working on this program to make sure that this library will grow. BioShock: The Collection comes with the three games in the series: BioShock, BioShock 2 and BioShock Infinite. It’s not sure what other Xbox 360 games will be available in the near future for Xbox One, but we’re pretty sure that Microsoft will try to first make available the most successful titles.
