Microsoft recently confirmed many Insiders encountered the same problem. As a result, the Redmond giant decided to pull Windows 10 build 18362 completely. This piece of news is quite worrisome as Insiders were almost sure Windows 10 build 18362 was the Windows 10 v1903 RTM candidate. Microsoft is currently working to fix the bug. However, the tech giant has not announced any release date for the hotfix. The company confirmed they decided to block the update because the installation process was triggering various error codes. It seems that Windows 10 build 18362 won’t be available on the Preview Release Ring any time soon.

A bug fix will be available soon

As you can see, the update install fails if you also installed cumulative update KB4494123. At least, Microsoft identified the culprit. Hopefully, its engineers will find a solution to this problem in the coming weeks. Microsoft plans to go for an official release for Windows 10 19H1 later this spring. We hope this bug won’t affect the release date.  Stay tuned for more updates regarding the release of the Windows 10 v1903 RTM build in the Slow ring. RELATED ARTICLES YOU NEED TO CHECK OUT:
