This time, Microsoft has not released any changelog for the update. The patch brings some improvements related to the security and stability of the OS. Furthermore, it also improves the upgrade experience for Windows 10 users. At the moment, KB4505903 is only available to Insiders enrolled in the Release Preview Ring. Microsoft also pushed Servicing Stack Update (SSU) KB4508433 to Insiders. The servicing stack update basically ensures the reliability and robustness of the Windows Update service. It is highly recommended that you first install the SSU before installing the KB4505903.

Apart from the issues of the slow download, KB4505903 is also affected by installation issues. Apparently, people had a hard time installing the update via Windows Update. Someone reported that the update bounced back from 100% during the installation process. Microsoft is currently testing the update for reliability issues. The next Patch Tuesday falls on August 13.
