This issue was detected in build 14342, and prevented users from accessing content on YouTube or going to YouTube altogether. Microsoft quickly fixed the bug and explained why the render issue occurred in the first place. The company implemented a feature called TCP Fast Open, which is actually an extension to speed up the opening of successive TCP connections between two endpoints. This feature’s role is to offer a faster connection between users’ computers and YouTube’s servers. After struggling for almost a week I gave up and re-installed windows from scratch re-partioning the drive in the process. I had great access to YouTube. So I upgraded to Build 14342 and once it was back up I tried to go to YouTube and could not get there. So it is a problem in the Edge and IE browsers in Windows 10 preview build 14342. This is not the only fix for Edge that Microsoft rolled out with the current build. The strange grey bar frequently seen on the left side of the Microsoft Edge is now history and the download notification in Microsoft Edge now includes filename, download status, and site domain on separate lines. Microsoft says there is only one known Edge issue left in build 14361, making its browser to open a tab and close it without doing anything when users click on a file download link outside of Microsoft Edge.
