We are already used that Microsoft is regularly pushing preview builds and the latest one has replaced the classic zoom animation which was used for quite some time now.
Animation changes in Windows 10
Microsoft confirmed in a Feedback Hub post for system-wide animation that more changes regarding animations in Windows 10 are on the way. Moreover, Microsoft is continuously looking for feedback as Microsoft’s Jennifer Gentlement wrote in the Feedback Hub: Since the animations in Windows 10 were last updated in 2015, this can be considered as a nice addition although it will not make any considerable change in the operating system. Moreover, it seems as though Microsoft is planning on using the same Fluent Design animations for both legacy and modern components. In order to improve the UI consistency, users will have access to the same animations and once an animation goes to the Settings, it will also apply to Control Panel. As always, we would love to hear your thoughts on this new improvement in Windows 10. Please don’t hesitate to leave us a comment in the dedicated section below.
