The official notes detail all improvements that are included in this build, and they target Microsoft Edge, Narrator, Kernel Debugging, Task Manager, PCs and more.
Microsoft Edge Improvements
There will be new and clearer Security and more menu so that it gets easier to find the options that users are looking for. The options will be organized in groups from now on. You’ll also be able to see your top sites on the Jump List on the Windows taskbar or Start Menu. You can organize the tabs that you have set aside and this way, you will be able to remember what’s in each group when you’re coming back later. There are also some improvements targeting the download pane.
Narrator enhancements
There have been included selection command in the Narrator Scan Mode, and it now supports selecting content in Microsoft Edge, Word, Outlook, Mail, and most text surfaces. Microsoft also notes that there is a known issue in Edge where selecting forward gets stuck. The company says that they working on a fix.
Kernel debugging improvements
There has been added support for IPv6 to KDNET, and the payload size of packets is decreased to make room for larger headers required for IPv6.
Other improvements included in the update
There are also Task Manager Memory Reporting improvements and the main memory column in Task Manager Processes tab will not include memory used by the suspended UWP processes. The Mobile Broadband LTE connectivity on Windows gets revamped, and Windows is transforming the networking stack after 20 years via the NetAdapter framework.
