Players of MMORPG games in Windows 8 seem to have problems with Microsoft’s operating system, as well as with the latest Windows 8.1 version. We have previously reported that users of Dragon’s Prophet and Guild Wars 2 have experienced problems with Windows 8.1, now it’s Metin2 players who complain. The story of the Metin2 game is described like this: Metin2 is a popular MMORPG game especially among players in the Eastern Europe. Recently, while browsing for some more Windows 8.1 issues, I’ve discovered that quite a few users are apparently plagued with problems while they try to play Metin2 in Windows 8. Most of the affected users seem to be from Poland or Romania. Reportedly, the game just crashes at a random point or it doesn’t open at all. Some of them are reporting graphical problems inside the game, such as hanging problems or a weird situation where the screen starts swirling and doesn’t stop. As always, you are advised to download the latest drivers, and also check whether you have installed the latest .NET Framework version.
