Here is the message posted on Skype’s official channel: More specifically, the Skype message status is rolling for a few minutes after users hit the Send button. The main regions affected by this issue are North America and Europe. This issue comes one month after another major Skype bug. As a quick reminder, tens of thousands of Skype users reported connectivity issues in June. It actually took Microsoft about 2 days to fix this problem for all users. Fortunately, this time Microsoft was quick to acknowledge the issue. The good news is that after a few minutes, your contacts will eventually receive your messages. At least, this is what we noticed. After about 2 or three minutes, the messages we sent were eventually delivered to our contacts. We’ll update this article as soon as new information is available.
