If you recall, Windows 8 ran on the same hardware as Windows 7, which ran on the same hardware as Windows Vista. So, this means that Windows 10 will run without any problems on any machine that has been built in the past 5 years, which I guess includes your Windows Vista laptop or desktop machine. Windows 10 system requirements are as follows:
1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster processor at least 1 GB of RAM for the 32-bit and 2GB for the 64-bit version 16 GB of free space
Windows Vista Home Premium, Windows Vista Business, Windows Vista Enterprise, and Windows Vista Ultimate require 1 GB of RAM for both 32- and 64-bit configurations, and 15 GB of free space. READ ALSO: Windows Store Apps Will Get Desktop Shortcuts in Windows 10
