Shah reveals that the update will act as a free and automatic step up to the support system. This means that any user who decides to option out of support, will be moved over to Azure Standard. For those wondering, Azure Standard will provide basic assistance for subscription and technical issues. We should also point out that customers who choose Azure Standard at purchase, will be upgraded to Professional Direct. This system promises to deliver faster response time than normal, along with the option for users to increase the priority of their issue. For those who have already upgraded to Professional Direct but still require even faster response time from Microsoft’s support system, then it is possible to access what the company calls Azure’s Premium support service. Keep in mind that new customers will have access to this new support system immediately, but current customers will have to wait until their account has been upgraded.
