Revenue decline due to lack of products A few days ago, Microsoft released a new Surface device, the latest in its Surface line called the Surface Laptop. While it received mixed reviews from users online, it nevertheless comes at a vital point for the company. Just last week, Microsoft confirmed a 26% decline in revenue for its Surface line due to a lack of new products for its Surface Pro and Surface Book lines. Everybody expected Microsoft would introduce updates to the Surface Pro 4 and the Surface Book back at the Spring event in April, but that didn’t happen. Instead, Microsoft is now expected to deliver updates to the Surface Pro and to the Surface Book lines sometime later during this year. During an interview with Bloomberg Technology, CVP of Microsoft’s Windows and Devices groupYusuf Mehdi  confirmed a possible update for the Surface Pro 4 soon:
