KB3140742 pushes Windows 10 to 10586.112
However, what did change, and it might not be a minor change, is the fact that the OS build now points to 10586.112, as you can see from the above screenshot. The version that I was running before was 10586.104, which is the one brought by update KB3135174. This was the single big change that we were able to spot, and the fact that the OS build has been updated, as well, could mean that Microsoft will deliver the update soon via the usual Windows Update distribution system. As we’ve seen from its recent moves, Microsoft likes to have the same version across all of its devices, which made us believe that Windows will be updated to 10586.107, which is the latest version for Windows 10 Mobile insiders. And on a personal note, after getting KB3135174 update on my hybrid Windows 10 device, I have a feeling that the Windows Store is now somehow snappier, but we’ll have to wait for confirmation from Microsoft’s side on this. We’ll be keeping an eye on this particular update and will add more details as soon as more Windows 10 users install it, or if the support page gets update to reflect the changes.
