Intel Core i9 speeds gaming laptops to 5GHz

The first models of 6-core gaming laptops, such as the Acer Nitro 5, have already been announced and are selling like hot cakes. Intel revealed that these new generation laptops are built on the Coffee Lake architecture and 14nm++ process technology which enable them to deliver 41% more FPS  in gameplay. If you’re a graphic designer, you can rely on Intel i9 processors to edit 4K videos up to 59% faster than on previous generation CPUs. The new processors can increase clock frequency up to 200 MHz if the temperature is low enough, reaching a turbo frequency of around 5 GHz. Intel Optane memory boosts PC responsiveness Thanks to the new CPUs, Intel Optane memory is now available across all Intel i9 powered platforms.
