Gamers report that Friday the 13th is affected by a series of technical issues, ranging from server connection issues to DLC key problems.
Friday the 13th: The Game reported bugs
1. Database Login Failure on the server connection
Many players report that they can’t connect to the game’s servers due to the “Database Login Failure” error. It appears that this error occurs because servers are overloaded. If you’ve encountered this error, use the following two workarounds to fix the problem:
Go to your anti-virus/firewall and turn off all scanning of the network traffic for the game. Reinstall the game and the anti-cheat program
Some players reported that these two solutions helped them connect to Friday the 13th’s servers. Hopefully, they’ll do the trick for you as well.
2. Mouse sensitivity issues
3. The game won’t work on the latest Windows 10 build
Players running Windows 10 build 16199 can’t launch Friday the 13th due to the “Invalid Game Executable” error.
4. Profile data won’t save
5. The controller randomly turns on players’ voices
For the time being, there is no workaround available to fix this problem. You can try repairing the game with the Steam client. We can’t say with certainty whether this will help.
6. Savini and clothing DLC Key Issues
Some players can’t access the Savini skin and clothing packs. When they click the “Login to claim” option, the game takes them to the full game DLC code. If you’ve come across any workarounds to fix these issues, feel free to list the troubleshooting steps in the comment section below. RELATED STORIES YOU NEED TO CHECK OUT:
