How to solve Homegroup problems after Anniversary Update?
Probably one of the most anticipated updates for Windows 10 was the Anniversary Update. This update brought many major improvements, but unfortunately there are also certain problems with Anniversary Update. According to users, after installing the Anniversary Update the Homegroup doesn’t work at all. Users reported that after installing the Anniversary Update all Homegroup settings were lost. In addition to lost Homegroup settings, there are reports of Windows can’t find any Homegroup on this PC error message. As for missing Homegroup settings, users reported that options to view Homegroup password or to leave the Homegroup are completely missing. According to some users, they can create a new Homegroup and get the Homegroup password, but they are unable to join it from a different PC since the other PC can’t see the new Homegroup. Instead of the option to join the Homegroup, other PCs only have the option to create a new Homegroup. Another problem that users reported is the inability to leave the Homegroup. According to them, it appears that PCs are connected to a Homegroup, but they can’t leave it or create another one. This can be a big problem, especially if you use Homegroup to share files and printer with other users on the same network.
