However, another new feature that is in the works is the ability to sync your extension data across multiple devices

Your extensions will keep their settings no matter where you are

The latest Edge Canary update finally features extension syncing capabilities. With it, all the extension data that you have on one device will extend to all the other devices that have the same profiles. This feature is optional, and you can enable and disable it whenever you like. Of course, those that have been using Microsoft Edge since before it became Chromium-based are probably familiar with this feature. Unfortunately, despite the fact this new feature is available on the latest build, not everyone can access it. This is because Microsoft decided to make it available only to those that are part of the Edge Insider program. This change was first revealed in a roadmap that Microsoft published, and it was taken into consideration because many users asked for it.
