To remind you, you can use Daemon Tools on Windows 8 to creates .iso and .mds images and also to emulate virtual CD and DVD drives. Daemon Tools mounts and unmounts images and supports the following file formats in Windows 8, as well: .b5t, .b6t, .bwt, .ccd, .cdi, .cue, .nrg, .pdi, .isz. The paid version of Daemon Tools will also let you compress your image files and protect them with password in Windows 8. Also, you will have option to manage your image collection.
