What is included in this latest Cumulative Update?
This Cumulative Update deals mostly with fixes and issues and brings no major new features. These fixes address the following SQL Server components:

These fixes address both the Windows and the Linux versions of SQL Server. While some fixes only work on either Windows or Linux, other fixes are available to both. Most of the bug fixes dealt with common bugs, none of which severely broke the functionality of SQL Server in any way. These issues ranged from missing or unresponsive UI elements to simple fixes to processes that would sometimes fail under certain conditions.
