Archos has announced the 50 Cesium smartphone powered by Windows 10 Mobile and Archos 50e Helium which runs the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop version. Archos CEO Loic Poirer said the following regarding the release: “By providing a choice between two almost identical hardware models, we allow the customer to focus on what they like on the inside: the user interface”

Android or Windows 10 – what would you run on your smartphone?

Both handsets feature identical specs, the single difference being the OS that they are running. The Archos 50 will go on sale in November, priced at €119 ($136) in Europe and £99 GBP ($155) in the UK. Let’s have a look at the main specs and features of the smartphones:
