A new ‘Teams Phone with Calling Plan’ is on the horizon as Microsoft plans to launch the service plan soon. The company aims to simplify the purchasing process and simplify enterprise-grade capabilities of small and medium-sized businesses by consolidating Microsoft 365 Business Voice and Enterprise bundles.
PSTN calls now available
With the new Teams Phone calling plan cloud-hosted service, customers will be able to make and receive public switched telephone network) PSTN calls. These will be available on both mobile phones and landlines in Microsoft teams. The service plan is reliable and secure with features such as voicemail transcription that will soon be available, auto-attendants, call queues and consultative transfers. The end goal is to attend to the calling needs of small businesses. In a blog post, Microsoft explained the reason behind this new launch.
